The industry is all a buzz about going green.

At Fruition Sales, we too, want to be a part of this whole green movement - to ensure a better environment for the future. We are just so busy with the cultural, harvesting and packing end of operation, that we thought it would be hard to be a part of it.

But wait...when we took a hard look, we recognized that we are doing everything in the greenest way possible. The fact that we are releasing bugs instead of using machinery to spray chemicals - that is certainly green. And how about the fact that we farm our crops by sustainable methods. Our green practices don't just stop in the field. In the packing house we only pick and pack to fill orders on hand so that we don't inventory fruit in a large cold storage. We have replaced light fixtures with new energy efficient ones and we have upgraded with better insulation to make our facility more efficient. In addition, we offer our customers many different varieties so that they can send one truck in for just one stop to procure all their citrus needs. We use local labor and harvest in a small region, all of which keep fuel consumption in mind.

At Fruition Sales we realized we were already doing many things in our daily lives that are part of that green dedication. In fact, we don't need to feel left out, we were green before green was cool.

We are ready to start picking Goblin Fingers (aka Buddha's Hand Citron) and Etrog Citron.
